First off, some ‘easy’ globular clusters in M31.

Whilst the others were in the flesh spots of Lower Withington I braved the elements at Llyn Brenig.

Don Utton, Paul Clark and myself went to Llyn Brenig on Thursday night, 5th Dec.

Desperation had set in. A hint of a few hours on Tuesday was enough to brave the conditions.

I managed to grab 3 hours of observing through a gap in the bad weather.

Last Saturday night saw 4 of us down at Llyn B again, this time seeing conditions were perhaps the best we'd ever seen there.

After a late departure (from the GM) I had a disastrous arrival at Llyn Brenig! 

PaulC, KevinT and Mike and Warren Cook went observing from Llyn Brenig.

It was probably the clearest 'seeing' I've experienced for at least two years.

I went to Tegg's Nose last night, (Monday 12th Feb) and had a very good time.

This February new Moon period has been very productive.  Five dark sky observing sessions with some good clear conditions. 

The drive across to Llyn Brenig was tedious.  It was early evening on a Sunday. 

Well, finding an opportunity for observing between family, weather and the 'flu proved quite difficult.

Saturday 21st October, the forecast was for a clear and frosty night.  An opportunity to try and find some really dark sky. 

I wasn’t going to write up anything about this trip.  I’m sure people have heard enough from me by now however...

On Saturday, 30th September, Don Utton, Paul Clark, Paul Brierley and myself went to observe at Lamaload reservoir.
